EAT WELL, SPEND LESS - special issue
Keeping a closer watch on spending is hardly fun, but on the upside, it's certainly introduced some slick new recipes into our collection. MasterChef's John Torode's new meat series focuses on cheaper cuts such as shoulder of lamb - his wonderful Persian rice with lamb in this issue is a new favourite. And in this month's Ready in 30 there are six recipes to get you through the week, all for just £32.
Eating out is an expensive luxury, but olive's restaurant columnist Terry Durack has a 12-point plan for dining out on a budget, that includes great advice on how to pick a restaurant that offers great value, and making the right menu choices when you're there.
This issue also offers a taste of the world's most exciting food. Our Madrid special and budget guide to Dublin give you plenty of good value options for an autumn break. And if you're planning on travelling no further than the kitchen this November, enjoy this month's cool Scandinavian recipes.
